What makes this different from a pants template you download
Search for a Roblox pants template and what mostly comes back is pictures: finished designs to look at, or a blank 585 × 559 sheet to open in a general image editor that has no idea which part of it is a leg. Neither one knows the geometry, so you end up counting pixels by hand.
This page does. The 18 panels are measured from Roblox's own template files, the two leg clusters are labelled Right leg and Left leg, and every export is exactly 585 × 559 — the one size Roblox accepts without stretching. You can click a panel on the canvas and paint only that panel, which is the part that is fiddly in a general editor and impossible in a gallery.
And nothing you add leaves your device. The whole editor is a canvas in your browser: the image you drop in is read locally, composited locally, and written back out as a PNG locally. There is no account, no upload step and no server copy of your design.
How the pants template is laid out
A classic clothing texture is three boxes flattened onto one sheet. The middle block wraps the hips; the two clusters underneath wrap the legs. Every rectangle below is measured from Roblox's own template files — paint inside these zones and the seams line up on the avatar.

Positions are top-left corners in pixels on the 585 × 559 canvas. The four 64 × 128 panels in each leg cluster are the sides of that leg; the two 64 × 64 squares cap it top and bottom. Classic pants and classic shirts share this identical unwrap — only the group names change (arms on a shirt, legs on pants).

- Why do pants use the same template as shirts?
- Because both are the same box unwrap. A classic clothing texture is three boxes flattened onto one sheet: a middle box and two identical side boxes. On a shirt the middle box is the torso and the side boxes are the arms; on pants the middle box is the hips and the side boxes are the legs. The rectangles sit at identical pixel coordinates either way — only what they wrap around changes.
- Which part of the template is the leg?
- The two clusters below the middle block. The left-hand cluster is the right leg and the right-hand cluster is the left leg, each made of four 64 × 128 side panels plus two 64 × 64 squares that cap the top and bottom of the leg. This page labels every one of them, and clicking a face on the canvas selects it.
- Do my images get uploaded anywhere?
- No. The editor is a canvas running in your browser. The artwork you add is never sent to a server, the PNG is generated on your own device, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
