Free Mockup Generator for Printful

Printful fulfils orders for a store you own, which flips the usual arrangement: nobody else is making your product photo, so the mockup here is the listing image itself.

Worth knowing

A fulfiller, not a marketplace

The difference between Printful and a marketplace is who owns the storefront — and that changes what a mockup is for.

You supply every product photo

There is no marketplace rendering previews for you. Whatever image you attach to a Shopify, Etsy or WooCommerce listing is what buyers judge the product on. That makes mockups a core asset here rather than a marketing nice-to-have, and it makes the whole-set .zip export the useful one.

Print specs come from the product page, not from us

Printful documents a maximum print area and a working resolution range per product, and they differ between garments. This tool previews placement; it does not know your product's print area. Take the numbers from Printful's own template before you commit a file.

Variants multiply the image work

Six colours times three products is eighteen listing images before you've added a second angle. Deciding your colour range early — and generating the full set in one pass — saves more time than any other habit in a Printful store.

3 steps

Working a Printful-backed store

01

Export the listing image

This is the photo the customer sees on your Shopify or Etsy listing, not a promo extra. Make the whole colour set and use them as the variant images.

02

Keep the print file to spec

Printful publishes a print area and a resolution range per product. Build the artwork to their template, not to the mockup.

03

Match variants to photos

Every colourway you offer needs its own image. Batch-export the .zip and attach them variant by variant.

FAQ

Printful mockups FAQ

Can I use these as my actual product photos?

Yes, and that's the point on Printful. You own the storefront, so the images you attach to a Shopify, Etsy or WooCommerce listing are yours to make. Export the full colour set as a .zip and attach them variant by variant.

Where do I get the print area and resolution?

From Printful's own product template, which publishes a maximum print area and a working resolution range for each item. This tool shows placement and colour, not your supplier's spec — check theirs before you send a production file.

How many images do I need?

One per variant, at minimum. Six colours across three products is eighteen images before extra angles, which is why generating the whole set in one batch is worth doing up front rather than one colour at a time.

Is there a watermark or account requirement?

No to both. The 1x PNG exports clean, there's no signup, and your artwork is composited in the browser rather than uploaded anywhere.
