The short version

Free Mockup Generator runs in your browser. The designs you upload are composited locally on your device and are never sent to a server. We don’t require an account, we don’t show ads, and we never sell or share your data. We do use Google Analytics to count visits, which sets analytics cookies — the details are below.

Your uploaded designs

When you upload artwork, it’s read directly by your browser and used only to render your mockup. It is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and nothing is stored after you leave the page. You can verify this: load a generator, disconnect from the internet, and uploading, previewing and downloading still work.

Usage analytics

We collect aggregate usage events (such as “a mockup was downloaded”) to understand which tools are useful. There are two layers, and neither one ever receives your artwork:

• Our own event collector is cookieless and contains no personal information — no names, no emails, no cross-site identifiers, and an anonymous session id that resets daily.
• Google Analytics 4 counts page views and tool usage. It sets its own first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) to tell repeat visits apart, and it sends that page-view data to Google. This site carries no advertising, and we never pass it your name, your email or your artwork — the events we send are page views and labels like “mockup downloaded”. If you would rather not be counted, any tracker blocker stops it, and every tool on this site keeps working with it blocked.

If you buy the HD unlock (optional)

Everything on this site is free to use without giving us anything. The one exception is the optional one-time HD unlock: payment is handled by our payment processor, and the only piece of personal data that reaches us is the email address you used at checkout. We store it with your redemption code so the code can be re-sent if you lose it. It is never used for marketing — there is no mailing list and no waitlist. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing support@freemockup.app.

The unlock itself is a code you paste into the tool. It does not create an account, and it does not change where your designs are composited — that stays in your browser either way.
