The blanks are closed hardcover notebooks seen from directly above, cover empty. Your design lands on the front board; switch covers and export the ones you want.
From artwork to a notebook listing photo
Bring your artwork in
PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. Portrait compositions suit this cover; a landscape file will sit small between wide margins.
Choose the cover
Black, white, navy, kraft, sand and forest. Kraft reads handmade and stationery-shop; black and navy read corporate gifting.

A clean 1x PNG with no watermark, ready for a stationery listing, a corporate gift proposal or a launch page.
Six hardcover notebooks
Black, white, navy, kraft, sand and forest green, each a closed hardcover shot from overhead with a soft shadow. The design area is the front board — a clearly portrait rectangle, taller than it is wide.
Six covers, one closed top-down view. Generic blanks generated in-house rather than a supplier's product, so take spine allowance and wrap bleed from your printer's own template.
A cover is a wrapped board, not a sheet
Hardcover notebooks are built, not printed flat. The construction is what decides where your design can safely go.
Portrait, and firmly so
The front board is noticeably taller than it is wide — closer to a book cover than to anything else in this tool. A logo lockup designed for a landscape surface will float in the middle with wide empty margins unless it's rebuilt vertically.
The wrap steals your edges
On a wrapped hardcover the printed material folds around the board and is glued inside, so a strip around all four edges disappears from view. Anything you care about needs to sit well inside the visible face, and full-bleed backgrounds need to extend past the trim to survive the fold.
The spine and hinge are their own problem
A design that runs across the spine has to cope with the hinge crease, where the cover flexes every time the book opens. Most suppliers treat the spine as a separate area or leave it plain. Unless yours explicitly supports a full wrap, keep the artwork on the front board.

Notebook mockup questions
Is the notebook mockup generator free?
Yes — 1200px PNGs and a .zip of all six covers, with no watermark, no account and no email step. The one-time HD unlock raises exports to 2048px without touching the free tier.
What shape should a notebook cover design be?
Portrait. The front board here is distinctly taller than it is wide, so vertical lockups and stacked type fit naturally. A wide horizontal design will shrink to the board's width and leave a lot of empty cover above and below it.
Can my design wrap around the spine?
Not in this preview, and often not in production either. The spine sits over a hinge that flexes on every open, and many suppliers handle it as a separate area or leave it plain. Confirm with your printer before you design a full wrap.
How much margin does the cover need?
More than you'd think. On a wrapped hardcover the printed sheet folds around the board and glues down inside, so a strip on all four edges is never visible. Keep type and logos well inside the face and let backgrounds run past the trim.
Can I sell notebooks using these mockups?
Yes — listings, gift proposals, ads and portfolios, commercially and with no attribution. The blank notebook templates themselves can't be redistributed as stock assets or inside a competing tool. The image license has the specifics.
