The blanks are rectangular cloth mousepads seen from directly above, stitched edges visible, top surface empty. Fill the surface with your design, switch colors, export.
From artwork to a desk-mat listing photo
Bring your artwork in
PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. This is the one surface here that genuinely wants a wide landscape file — panoramas and desk-scene art belong on it.
Choose the pad
Black, white, navy, grey, sand and forest. Black is the desk-setup default; the lighter pads make a full-colour print sit brighter.
Export the PNG
A clean 1x PNG with no watermark, sized for a listing, a desk-setup post or a gaming-accessory storefront.
Six stitched cloth mousepads
Black, white, navy, grey, sand and forest green, each a rectangular cloth pad with stitched edges, viewed from directly overhead. The design area is a broad landscape rectangle roughly twice as wide as it is tall — the widest in this tool.
Six colors, one top-down view. Generic blanks generated in-house rather than a specific supplier's pad, so use them for presentation and take exact bleed and edge allowances from your printer's template.
A wide flat surface, with a stitched border
The mousepad is the easiest surface in this set to print on and the easiest one to get the crop wrong on.
Twice as wide as it is tall
The design area here is a broad landscape rectangle — by a distance the widest in this tool. Artwork composed for apparel or drinkware will letterbox badly. This is where wide scenes, keyboard-length panoramas and repeating patterns finally have somewhere to go.
The stitched edge eats your bleed
That border is sewn through the printed cloth, so it covers a strip of your design all the way round. Full-bleed art needs to extend past the trim and, more importantly, must keep anything you care about — type, a logo, a face — well inside the stitching line.
Cloth top, rubber base
The printable surface is a woven cloth layer bonded to a rubber base and decorated by sublimation. The weave is fine enough for photographic art, which is why detailed prints work here and don't on canvas — but small type still softens slightly, so set body text larger than you would for paper.

Mousepad mockup questions
Is the mousepad mockup generator free?
Yes — 1200px PNGs plus a .zip of all six pads, with no watermark, no account and no email capture. The optional HD unlock is a one-time payment for 2048px exports and leaves the free tier as it is.
What aspect ratio should my mousepad design be?
Wide. The design area is roughly two to one, landscape, which is the widest surface in this tool. Square or portrait artwork will sit small in the middle with dead space either side unless you extend the background out to fill it.
How much margin do I need for the stitched edge?
Enough that nothing important comes near it. The stitching is sewn through the printed top, so it covers a strip of artwork around the whole perimeter. Extend the background past the trim, and keep type and logos comfortably inside.
Can I print a photograph on a mousepad?
Yes — the printable surface is a fine woven cloth decorated by sublimation, which handles photographic detail far better than canvas or fleece. Fine type still softens a little against the weave, so size it up rather than down.
Can I sell products using these mousepad mockups?
Yes — listings, ads, storefronts and client work, commercially and with no attribution. The blank pad templates themselves can't be redistributed as stock assets or inside a competing mockup tool. Details are in the image license.
