This page covers the blank product templates (the empty t-shirts, books, frames and surfaces) used by the generators, and the mockups you export from them.

What you can do

• Use the mockups you export commercially — product listings (Etsy, Shopify, Printful, Printify, KDP), ads, social posts, portfolios and client work.
• Use them with no attribution required and no watermark.
• Edit and combine the exported mockups with your other materials.

What you can’t do

• Redistribute or resell the blank templates themselves as mockup templates, stock assets or a competing generator.
• Imply that Free Mockup Generator, or any platform we link to, endorses your product.

Your design

You keep all rights to the artwork you upload — this license only concerns our templates. You are responsible for holding the rights to your own design, as set out in our terms of use.

Template sourcing

Our templates are produced in-house or from assets cleared for commercial mockup use, and each is recorded in an internal asset ledger with its source and license before it goes live. No third-party logos, trademarks, recognizable people or copyrighted artwork appear in them.
