The blanks are ceramic coffee mugs shot straight on with the handle on the right, front face empty. Your design goes on the panel facing the camera; switch colors and export.
From artwork to a mug listing photo
Bring your artwork in
PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. A mug reads at arm's length on a desk — one line of type or one strong mark.
Choose the mug
White, black, navy, red, sand and forest. White is the sublimation default; the coloured mugs usually mean a different process entirely.
Export the PNG
A clean 1x PNG with no watermark, ready for a gift listing, an office-merch page or a campaign image.
Six ceramic mugs
White, black, navy, red, sand and forest green, each a ceramic coffee mug shown straight on with the handle to the right. The design area is the panel facing the camera — taller than it is wide, ending well before the handle.
Six colors, one front view with a right-hand handle. Generic blanks generated in-house rather than a supplier's mug, so take wrap dimensions and handle clearance from your printer's template.
The handle decides everything
A mug looks like the simplest product here. The handle, the curve and the coating are what actually shape the brief.
The handle interrupts the wrap
Print can't run through the handle, so a mug is really two panels — one either side of it — rather than one continuous surface. A wrap-around design has to either stop cleanly on both sides or be built as a repeating pattern that tolerates being interrupted. Left-handed customers see the other panel, so both sides need to work.
This preview is flat, the mug is a cylinder
The tool composites onto a flat panel facing the camera. A centred design is previewed faithfully; art that runs toward the edges curves away in reality and reads smaller in the hand than it does here. It's a front view, not a wrap proof.
White ceramic sublimates, coloured mugs often don't
Full-colour photographic mugs are sublimated onto a white polymer-coated ceramic surface. Coloured and interior-glazed mugs generally can't take that process, so they're decorated by screen print, decal or laser instead — usually one or two spot colours, not a photograph. Check which your supplier offers before you promise full colour.

Mug mockup questions
Is the mug mockup generator free?
Yes — a 1200px PNG per mug and a .zip of all six, with no watermark, no account and no email capture. The optional HD unlock is a one-time payment for 2048px exports.
Can a design wrap all the way round a mug?
Not through the handle. Print stops either side of it, so a mug is effectively two panels. Wrap designs either need a clean stop on both sides or a repeating pattern that survives the interruption — and remember the far panel is what a left-handed user sees.
Does this show a true cylindrical wrap?
No. Your design is composited onto a flat panel facing the camera, so it's an accurate preview of a centred design and an optimistic one for anything running to the edges, which curves out of sight on a real mug.
Can I print a photo on a coloured mug?
Usually not. Photographic mugs are sublimated onto a white polymer-coated ceramic surface, and coloured or interior-glazed mugs generally can't take that. Those are decorated by screen print, decal or laser — typically one or two spot colours. Confirm with your supplier first.
Can I use these mug mockups commercially?
Yes — gift listings, office-merch pages, ads and client work, with no attribution required. Redistributing the blank mug templates themselves as stock or inside a competing tool is the one restriction. See the image license.
