The blanks are square throw cushions seen face on, stuffed rather than flat, so the face carries the soft convex shading a filled cushion actually has. Add your art, switch covers, export.

How it works

From artwork to a cushion listing photo

01

Bring your artwork in

PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. Square source files need no cropping here — the pillow face is the one square canvas in this set.

02

Choose the cover

Six covers from white and natural through sage. Interiors buyers shop by palette, so the cover colour matters more than it does on apparel.

03

Export the PNG

A clean 1x PNG with no watermark, sized for a home-decor listing or a styled interiors grid.

Covers included

Six square throw cushions

White, natural, black, navy, sand and sage, each a filled square cushion shown face on with a soft cast shadow. The design area is a true square on the front face, centred between the seams.

Six covers, one straight-on angle. The cushions are generic blanks generated in-house, not a specific supplier's product, so use them for presentation and confirm the printable area on your printer's own template.

Before you print

What a stuffed cushion does to a design

A pillow is the only product here whose surface is not flat and not cylindrical. It is a pillow — it bulges, and the bulge is the whole design problem.

Square in, square out

The design area on the cushion face is a true 1:1 square, which makes this the natural home for square artwork — mandala patterns, album-cover crops, pet portraits, anything already composed for Instagram. No aspect-ratio surgery needed.

The edges curve away from the camera

A filled cushion is convex. Anything near the outer edge of the face turns away from the viewer and foreshortens, and the corners pull in hardest. Border frames and edge-to-edge repeats look tight in the file and skewed on the product — leave real margin.

Cover fabric decides the process

Polyester and poly-blend covers take dye sublimation, which is why full-bleed photographic cushions exist at all. Woven cotton and linen covers do not sublimate; those get screen print or embroidery, and a photographic design simply isn't available on them.

FAQ

Pillow mockup questions

Is the pillow mockup generator free?

Yes — 1200px PNGs and the batch .zip of all six covers, no watermark, no account, no email capture. The optional HD unlock is a one-time payment that raises exports to 2048px and never expires or converts to a subscription.

What shape should my pillow design be?

Square. The cushion face here is a genuine 1:1 area, so a square file drops in without cropping. If your artwork is portrait or landscape, decide what you're willing to lose before you place it rather than letting the tool decide for you.

Why does my full-bleed design look wrong on the cushion?

Because the face is convex. A design that fills the square right to its edges gets pulled around the curve and cropped by the seams, so the outer band is never really visible. Designs with an intentional margin survive the transition; edge-to-edge repeats rarely do.

Are these photos of real cushions?

They're photoreal blanks generated in-house for this tool, not photographs of a supplier's cushion. That makes them safe to use with any printer, and it means your supplier's own template is still the authority on the printable area.

Can I sell products using these pillow mockups?

Yes — use the exports commercially in listings, ads and portfolios with no attribution. You just can't redistribute the blank cushion templates themselves as stock assets or inside a competing mockup tool. The image license has the detail.
