Four tips for a t-shirt mockup that sells
Upload a transparent PNG
A PNG with a transparent background drops cleanly onto any shirt color. JPGs paint their white box onto the tee, so prefer PNG or SVG for apparel art.
Match the shirt to the ink
Light art reads best on dark tees and vice versa. Switch swatches to check that thin lines and light colors survive on every shirt you plan to sell.
Keep the design in the print box
Drag and scale your art so it sits inside the chest area like a real DTG print. The reset button recenters it at a safe default size.
Export a full set
For a listing, a flat lay plus a hanging shot of the same design reads as a real product. Use “Download all” to get every color in one zip.
Sized for where you sell
The free export is a clean 1200px PNG. For exact listing-image dimensions per marketplace, open a platform preset or size guide — each is checked against the platform’s own docs.

What is a t-shirt mockup?
A t-shirt mockup is a photo of a blank tee with your artwork composited onto it so you can see how a design will look on a real shirt before you print or list it. This tool builds that mockup in your browser from a design you upload.
How do I make a t-shirt mockup for free?
Upload your PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, pick a shirt color, drag the design to position it, and download a clean 1200px PNG. There is no watermark, no account, and no email step on the free export.
Which t-shirt colors and angles are included?
There are 12 real photographed tees: black, white, navy, heather grey, red, forest green, sand and royal blue as flat lays, plus black, white, navy and heather grey on a hanger. Pick any swatch to re-render your design on it.
Can I move, resize and rotate my design on the shirt?
Yes. Once your art is on the tee you can drag it to reposition, pull the corner handle to scale, and use the top handle to rotate. On touch devices, pinch to zoom and twist to rotate. Hit reset to recenter.
Can I download mockups on every shirt at once?
Yes. Use “Download all (.zip)” to export your design on every shirt template in a single zip — useful when you want a full set of listing photos. Each file is a clean 1200px PNG with no watermark.
